Saying more about using less
We help businesses to describe what they do, and because more of them are now talking about consuming and wasting less, and about their energy-use and footprint-size, it's a language in which we've become fairly fluent.
Clearly, different businesses and organisations will be differently motivated: ethically, financially, globally, locally or - most commonly - a combination of all these. What they share, however, is the need to communicate their points without sounding theological, box-ticking, worthy, windy, smug, fraudulent or hectoring (or any other qualities sometimes associated with such messages).
We've helped plenty of people to do this, from specialist organisations - Community Energy Plus, the Cornwall Sustainable Tourism Project (CoaST), Leap Media - to businesses who've found that sustainability is integral to, rather than at odds with, a healthy bottom-line.

Stinky Patter blog
Stinky Patter: HWW scrambles aboard the last train to Blogsville. It's mainly about writing, never exceeds 140 words per post and is - no, really - well worth a click. |
